I have all kinds of grandiose (but rather vague) ideas about what I hope to do here. I work with adults who have developmental challenges. My official title is Achieve Instructor, but I'm sure that the people I support teach me as much or more than I teach them. Recently, and much to my delight, I was asked by my co-worker to help out with the art classes she teaches. I have always had an interest in art, and have done a number of projects with the people I support, but it has never been in a designated time and place. I've always worked it around other scheduled activities. SO...it's exciting to research and plan projects. I have spent way too many hours surfing the net, following the wonderful blogs of several amazing art teachers and parents. Now I feel inspired and want to start trying out some of these projects. So here we go!
